My name is Mehek Naresh, and I’m a writer. Professionally, I’ve been doing this for more than a decade, but how can one quantify the scraps of stories written on napkins, the short stories written for classes through middle and high school, and the depth of creative endeavors that have been the building blocks of my life?
What you’ll find here is a place for my work to live online. An online archive of who I’ve been, and where I’m going. For now, I’m a jack of all trades, master of some. But this is a place where the things that are bigger than my 9-5 live.
On this site, you’ll find reading, prose, travel, and some things that didn’t make it to publishing out in the world. I’m ambitious and optimistic, and I firmly believe that you grow through what you go through.
Some of the identifiable markers of myself include being Indian American, an immigrant, out and proud lesbian, and holding the firm belief that giving back is the key to a life well lived.
