My Word of the Year

Grace.

“Courteous goodwill.”

I wanted my word of the year to be something that I need to remind myself of often.

I don’t extend myself grace. I hold myself to impossible standards; just look at my list of 20 things for 2020. And I hold other people to those same impossible standards, which is often frustrating to both myself and to other people.

So this year, I am going to try to extend grace to other people, but also extend grace to myself. I want to let myself live a little, and extend the grace on to others in my life.

Not a long post today, but I’ll talk a little more next week about why you may get shorter posts this year.
