Now, day before yesterday, I posted a blogpost about what my habit based resolutions were going to be for the month of June. What I didn’t post was a list of “one off’s.” Things I won’t be doing every day, but NEED to actually set aside the time and make happen.
- Set up my scanner: I bought a scanner for work a month ago and still haven’t gotten to setting it up. For shame.
- Actually take pictures of myself and my girlfriend: 5 months into a relationship, and I have yet to document evidence that we are together. I don’t really post that sort of stuff to Facebook, but I like to have photographs to remember the sweetness in my life.
- Revamp my shoe wardrobe: I have so many high heels I can’t and shouldn’t wear, and I really, genuinely need to go ahead and donate or sell them all. I hope at the very least to go back through and buy shoes that will be better for my feet and my sanity.
- Update Linkdin: It was recently brought to my attention that I haven’t updated my Linkdin page in four years. This is probably the most prudent thing I’ll be doing, and will only take 4 or 5 hours at most, but I want to get it done.
This doesn’t seem like a lot, but I have been sitting on these things for months, and I desperately need to get these off my to do list.
I have tons of work things pending as well, which I desperately need to finish, but that’s a thing I don’t want out in the world. I know I need to make myself a list and make it happen.
I really just want to get my life sorted out in such a way that I feel like I am in control, in power, and can take on the world.
