As some of you know, I used to vlog about books on a youtube channel. It was 2014, and I was energized by a new years resolution to vlog twice a week. So I started filming on my computers webcam and editing in Windows Movie Maker. Flash forward two months, and my hard drive is fried and I’m left with a warning that my computer wasn’t able to process that kind of work, and that I needed a more powerful computer to achieve my dreams of YouTube stardom.
Dear Reader, I rarely watch TV. I very rarely turn on our satellite and sit and watch a full episode of a show. It’s not because I look down on TV, but because, many years ago, I found the content I wanted to watch somewhere else. YouTube has been a part of my life for years. I love watching vlogs and sit down videos, and love the conversation the platform generates. But, as the title of this post states, I have something to say about sponsored content.
I’ve been following Hannah Hart since some of her very first My Drunk Kitchen episodes, and Hart has always kept her past and personal life separate from her public life. This book dives into the personal bits, and it was a book that was definitely worth the read.
Season three of Carmilla just ended, and it was amazing. I am not going to spoil it for your in this post(though maybe go watch season three first before reading), but I do want to say thank you to the little web series that could.
I wanted to make this list primarily so that whomever is reading this blog gets a feel for who I am as a person moreso than just the little stories I post about my life. There will be a little story later though!
